You are purchasing a professionally made O Scale Paterson Silk Mill building that is individually painted and assembled by Todd Architectural Models & Layouts. This building, like the prototype, is 4-stories tall. This particular building is modeled after two late 1800's Paterson (NJ) Silk Mills.
Each of our built-up Paterson Silk Mill buildings are custom laser cut, assembled and painted. No two are quite the same. The standard building comes with textured brick on tall four elevations.
This warehouse building, WH-04, has a footprint that measures 12" x 12" and stands 13-1/2” tall. This built up and ready to ship model has warehouse loading doors on one side, two centered entrance doors and four warehouse loading doors on the opposite side, and standard windows on the left and right sides. The windows are glazed with translucent material that will emit a warm white glow when lit.
Each story is separated by a floor and ceiling, and each floor is divided into two separate sections in the middle. Each section is individually lit using an LED lighting strip that is placed in the ceiling. There are a total of eight positive wire leads and two ground leads to connect to a 12V DC power source when the model is placed on the layout.
The building is constructed of laser scored and cut acrylic plastic, Laserboard and Taskboard, and is professionally finished to be individually unique. Windows are fabricated using two layers of laser cut Lazerboard for sashes and frames. Added details include individually applied window sills and built up cornices. Each building is made at ¼” = 1’-0” scale and will be a welcome addition to your O Scale layout.
This building WH-04 is built up and ready to ship.
You may custom order your Paterson Silk Mill building by calling the shop directly. You will be able to specify window, and entrance and warehouse door styles and locations, window glazing preference (clear, translucent or Roscolux Grey), and cornice material (cast stone or brick).
